Giant’s Causeway

The Giant’s Causeway is made up of around 40,000 hexagonal basalt columns and holds UNESCO World Heritage status. While science explains that these incredible formations were created by ancient volcanic activity, local legend tells a different tale that they were built by the mighty Giant Finn McCool himself.
